Clyde FC vs Motherwell FC
Just a very small, brief preview this weekend as full focus is currently on ISSUE 1 of the fanzine.
It has often been said that the league cup group stage matches are glorified friendlies for the Premiership teams. Maybe that is often the case. Certainly last year, we put in some lethargic displays in that stage of the competition, though in hindsight you could argue incompetence.
Still, having watched the interviews of Jens Berthel Askou and Andy Halliday, I remain convinced that tomorrow is a new dawn. There is an eagerness amongst this team that I don’t think we have seen in a while, at least certainly before Wimmer. This is infectious. It carries over to the fans. We know it, the players know it, and the manager knows it.
We’ll be covering it all. The highs and the lows, the rainy Wednesday nights and the occasional scorching Saturday.
We know we’re banging on about it, but every bit of support on the Zine really does help. Visit www.steelmendispatch.store to see for yourself.
The Dispatch wishes Jens, Max, staff and the players all the best at the start of the 2025/26 football campaign and a very big comeeeee onnnnn yeeeeeeee wellllllllllll
